- Extended Description
The sequences in this program illustrate how initially very simple play becomes increasingly complex as children begin to develop pretend games with their peers – eventually leading to complex socio-dramatic play with older children up to age 7. Each sequence is preceded by a brief introduction that provides insights into the different developmental stages. Observing separate sequences gives the opportunity to really analyze how and why children are entering into this world and what they are gaining from it and learn how to provide unique ways to support each child to reach their full potential through their play.
