Women Behind Bars I: Introduction (01:49) Indiana Women's Prison and Rockville Correctional Facility house over 1,800 offenders. This segment orients viewers to the topic of female prison culture. Indiana's Most Notorious Inmate (03:32) Trevor McDonald meets convicted double murderer Sarah Pender in the segregation (disciplinary) unit at Indiana Women's Prison. She discusses the 2008 escape that resulted in her being in the unit for the last 5 years. Catching America's Most Wanted Woman (02:05) See police return Sarah Pender her to custody. Sgt. McPherson offers her perspective on Pender's relationship with the prison guard Scott Spitler who helped her escape and who was sentenced to prison for doing so. Indiana Women's Prison: Unit 13 (05:01) In the general population, prisoners must conform to regimented days. Addie Harts has been in prison since 2006 for strong-arm robbery. She shares her history of crime and getting in fights. Addie says she has a horrible anger problem. Rockville Correctional Facility (04:13) Approximately 200 offenders arrive at Rockville every month. Trevor McDonald speaks with a staff member who processes a returning offender, Paula McIntosh. 20 Years Served (03:32) New inmates at Rockville Correctional Facility have one month of orientation. Inmate Martha Search anticipates her upcoming release. Sarah Pender: Master Manipulator? (03:25) In 2008, Sarah Pender escaped Rockville Correctional Facility. Lt. Brad Gray was on duty the day of the escape. He gives his opinion of Pender and Spitler, the prison guard who drove her out of the facility.
